Oh, did I miss that series! Conor is the sixth installment and it felt good to plunge back into the Boston Underworld.

Conor is the younger recruit od the syndiacte. Through flashbacks, we understand what his life was like and how he became involved with the Irish mafia.

Ivy is a newly hired sripteaser at Sláinte. Conor is in charge of finding out if/what she knows about the murder of Muerto, her boyfriend. 

Only, appearances are deceitful and there is so much more to the young woman than what the broody Conor at first thought.

So, in order to save her, he comes up with the most improbable proposition.


At turns surprising, swoon-worthy, gruesome, sexy and action packed, this book, but after all, the entire series was a real page-turner. 

The big hearted, overprotective alpha man that is Conor equally infuriated me and melted my heart. The tension between him and Ivy was palpable, both of them guarded and not ready to admit their feelings. 

Her fight and determination and his caveman manners promised difficult beginnings. Will their relationship survive the miscommunication and the mob lifestyle?


I recommend this book if you are in the mood for a romance between two scarred souls, a possessive and grouchy albeit sweet and caring man and a desperate to get her life back on track woman.
