What a treat to come back to the Nightshades universe, its incredibly dark and thick atmosphere!
With Infernium, second and last book of the duet, Mrs Lake concludes epically Farryn and Jericho's saga.
This book is huge, all the more words to enjoy, getting immersed and, losing myself into a world of a rare complexity and intricacy. I can only name a handful of authors that will bring out such raw and intense emotions in me, amd Mrs Lake is certainly one of my favorites. I cringed, almost hid behing my hands, bit my nails and even smiled at times! The passion left me breathless, completely riveted to the pages.
Navigating between past and present, between Farryn and Jericho's points of view, I couldn't read fast enough and at the same time I needed to slow down to savor the depth of the storyline and the richess of the ambience.
It's certainly a duet you need to experience if you are in the mood for a breathraking. dark gothic romance.
