His Rule, the new collaboration Knight/Zavarelli brings the readers back into the Society's world, its expectations and its rites.

After Ivy and Santiago's story in the previous series Severign Sons, we are now following Santiago's sister, Mercedes and Judge.

I had expectations about both characters, and the authors delivered a gripping story where the tension was palpable in every chapter, every paragraph. Mercedes is tough, feisty, with an infuriating attitude. Judge provides the frame she didn't know she needed. I absolutely loved the battle of wills that engaged between them and their nail bitting magnetism.

"This little monster needs me to remain in control./I>

Between family secrets, painful pasts and an anticipation that kept me on the edge of my seat, I devoured this first installment in no time and will impatiently wait for the second opus!

"She only has one option. Fight. It’s in her nature."
