Second installment of the Society Trilogy, Reparation of Sin starts off where the first opus ended. The duo of authors Zavarelli/Knight takes us on a path of blind revenge that had me screaming from the beginning to the end!

The characters' decisions created a haunting atmosphere of mistrust, hate and violence. The plot kept me wondering all along, with a progression of the mystery that only thickens as the story unfolds. I truly can't wait to find out why, who and how, although I have my theories! This series is one that deserves to be buddy read, having someone to share your thoughts and scream with you is priceless, trust me.

Santiago's hatred for Ivy and her family knows (almost) no boundaries. His control is definitely slipping when Ivy is concerned and it would be so easy for him to commit the unthinkable against his sweet and meek wife!
Their upbringing made of them brainswahed soldiers who don't seem to be able not any discernment nor make any rational decision. I could feels sparkles of hope, though, moments of connection between the main characters that I can't wait to see growing into a stringer and deeper connection in the third and last book, Resurrection of the Heart!
