What an epic journey!!! Blood Prince is everything I needed when I started it: a story that would captivate me and would make me forget everything else.
Blood Prince is based on the Helen of Troy myth, and is the story of two characters who were introduced to us in Incubus: Elena and the sexy and deadly vampire Paris. It plunges the reader into and incredible atmosphere, dark, dangerous, fantastic, strange, sometimes eerie. Through their quest to get rid of Menelaus and eventually free Elena of her demoniac husband, the heroes explore the underworld, fight numerous enemies and find unexpected allies. Vampires, Gods, demons and such, be careful, you'll never know which is going to strike next!
From the beginning we are in for an action packed read, featuring a strong and majestic heroine, Helen, or Elena as she is known. She completely enthralled me with her badass attitude and determined personality. She is smart and talented, after all she is Artemis' master tactician!
In comparison, Paris seemed in her shade and I waited for him to finally claim what was his: his throne and his woman. And when he did....oh, boy!!! *wiggle brows* He shone!
The chemistry and intensity ignited my kindle, the adrenalin rush induced by the fight scenes had me furiously turning the pages!
This is a book I highly recommend, once again Celia Aaron's writing worked its magic!!! Enjoy ladies!!!
