BLUE (Love in Colors, #2) by S.M. West: Review

I’ve been waiting for Evans story since I finished Red (which I loved) a few months ago, so there were some serious expectations behind it, hehe!

Blue is Van and Carys story, two characters we met in the previous installment. Carys is Ry’s sister and Van her Brother’s best friend. Yep, promising, right?
The story takes place at the present time although I really appreciated the several flashbacks which help the reader to better understand Carys and Evan’s bond. Those two are true soulmate, they are inevitable. Their love is obvious, electric, magnetic.
“Did you ever miss me? At any point in time, did you ever regret your decision and ever realize that our love is enough? That we can face anything together?”
“Every. Fucking. Day.”
Although I understood Vans motives for leaving
Carys and his friends, even if I felt for him and wanted Carys to follow her heart from the beginning of the book, Carys's reaction was smart and believable. It shows the importance of communication and trust.

This is a story about forgiveness, selflessness, finding yourself, making choices. But what I found exceptional in Blue is the role of friends and family, and more than that, their optimistic and positive attitude. It’s something that’s recurrent in Suzanne’s writing; that feeling of being surrounded by well - intentioned people is very enjoyable and refreshing too. I absolutely love that “tribe” vibe.

Suzanne delivered a beautiful story about love, family, with great action and an intriguing mob background, I can't wait for the next installment😄!!!
